When a new farmer who inherited their grandfather's land arrives in Stardew Valley, Haley cannot be bothered to remember their name, instead only remarking on the scent of dirt which clings to their clothes and their odd manner of dress. But get to know her, and bit by bit, you'll uncover a person who loves flowers, photography, nature, and sea water. Someone with an unmatched eye for beauty, even in the smallest of details. Sentimental and sweet, Haley treasures gifts and memories, appreciates quality time and effort, is eager to learn, and hungry for excitement---- all you have to do is get past the initial attitude problem. Which probably involves some critique of your appearance. Who dressed you, anyway?



background

Canonically, not a ton of information is given about Haley's background. A lifelong resident of Pelican Town in Stardew Valley, Haley has an older sister named Emily who is her polar opposite. Their parents are palpably absent from their home, and an inquisitive farmer can spot notes around their home indicating that the couple are well-traveled and indeed currently continuing to travel, sending only mail and money to their daughters. Haley is friends with Alex, the other individual in town who is of the "high school popular" ilk. Her strengths lie in photography and fashion, as well as dancing and swimming to a lesser extent. She's also seen to have a special bond with her late great-grandmother, whose cherished bracelet she inherited and wears wherever she goes.

I never know what to put in these things. A lot of layout makers include them and it breaks the whole code if you get rid of it, but like, what am I supposed to do with it? It looks insane if you leave it blank, because someone scrolls over it and it's like wow! A useless square of nothing just popped out! What the fuck? But also I don't really need this because any custom text I might need is gonna be in the posts. I do like a little nav splash page thing because this is an RP journal. So here I am, rambling in this little text box just for the sake of putting literally anything in here so when it jump scares you for accidentally scrolling over the little decorative heading, at least there's maybe some sort of explanation for why that happened. Maybe you'll get a laugh out of it. Anyway I hope you like RPing with Haley and I hope you like the journal I made her.
